Wednesday was a patriotic day at Georgia State football practice as the Panthers continued their preparation for Saturday's game at UTSA.

U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson visited practice and addressed the team, telling the Panthers that the entire state of Georgia is proud of their efforts to build the football program at GSU.

Following practice, the team took time to participate in a letter-writing project for U.S. soldiers around the world. Each player wrote several hand-written letters in support of the men and women who are serving our country.

Georgia State (2-5) and UTSA (2-5) meet Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The game will be televised on the Longhorn Network.
