ATLANTA – Georgia State has announced a future football home and home series with Vanderbilt, marking the first time the Panthers will host a school from the Southeastern Conference.

Georgia State will host Vanderbilt on Sept. 28, 2024, and then make the trip to Nashville a season later to face the Commodores on Sept. 20, 2025.

With the additions, Georgia State now has games scheduled through the 2025 season.

Last season, Georgia State won its final four regular season games and finished the 2016 season 6-7 record after making its first appearance in the AutoNation Cure Bowl, just six years after the inception of the program.
