JJ Grey is the Georgia State Student-Athlete of the Week, powered by the U.S. Marines.

Grey finished tied for third at the Schenkel Invitational, leading the Panthers to a sixth place finish and ahead of four teams ranked in the top 50 (eight total were in the field).
 
Grey shot rounds of 69-65-70 to finish one-stroke back of two golfers who tied for first, one ranked No. 7 in the country, the other No. 37. He finished ahead of seven golfers in the top 100. His second round 65 is tied for the eighth-lowest mark in school history.
 
His three-round tournament score of 204 is tied for the fifth-lowest mark in school history. He picked up his third third-place finish of the year and fourth top 10.
 
He led the Panthers to a three-round score of 22-under, 842, the fifth-lowest three-round score in program history as GSU finished just three strokes out of third. Grey led the Panthers to an opening around 14-under 274, the second-lowest round in relation to par in program history and third-lowest overall score.
