ATLANTA – Georgia State's Milani Pickering and Delaney Rohan played well at the NCAA Championships, earning the pair this week's GSU Tournament Student-Athletes of the Week, presented by the U.S. Marines.

On Friday, the pair won the #3 position over No. 6-ranked Arizona with a straight set 23-21, 21-18 victory. That match, seen on national TV (truTV) and the Internet, was one of two GSU points in the exciting 3-2 GSU loss.

Friday morning's match saw the pair take soon-to-be national champion Southern California right to the wire. Pickering-Rohan fell 21-17, 21-17 to a pair with a 29-3 record that had included a 21-match win streak during the season.

GSU's duo finished the season with a superb 29-6 record as the Panthers consistently played top 10-ranked teams and top 20-ranked teams all season.

Pickerig is a senior from Mesa, Arizona, while Rohan is a junior from Brooklyn Park, no not N.Y., but Minnesota.
