ATLANTA – Looking for a way to engage non-traditional Georgia State fans, the Department of Athletics announced today a way for fans to access events through the new INWEGO consumer mobile app.
Built by Atlanta-based Experience, INWEGO is the first ever market-based mobile subscription service for entertainment seekers and sports fans. INWEGO gives users of the app the ability to attend live sports and entertainment events anytime they want, try a variety of events across a particular city, and share their experiences with friends. INWEGO’s unique subscription approach solves the way today’s fans want to purchase tickets – with access to a variety of events in one city, for one great price, even giving access minutes before an event begins.
Georgia State will offer select basketball games this season that users of INWEGO will have access to tickets, with plans to grow the platform in the future.
“We have a solid basis of diehard Georgia State fans that we know will show up for a large portion of our events,” Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Operations Brian Kelly said. “However, we hope to use INWEGO to get fans who may not normally show up for one of our events to give us a try. We hope that after engaging them with our gameday experience, they will want to come back again.”
INWEGO is a monthly subscription service that gets you unlimited access to a wide range of live sport events from baseball, football and even ultimate Frisbee. Georgia State joins a group of Atlanta-based sports teams that include most professional and collegiate teams in the city.
Once registered, fans are able to select games that they want to go to for no additional fee other than the already paid for subscription service. INWEGO is available for download on iPhone and Android devices. Fans can learn more at www.INWEGO.com.
