ATLANTA- The No. 38 Georgia State men's tennis team will play the first of its final three matches this weekend, splitting time on the road and at home. GSU will take its five-match win-streak to Old Dominion for a Saturday afternoon match-up, before hosting Florida Atlantic Monday for Georgia State's final regular season home match.
The Panthers are 13-6 overall (3-1 SBC) heading into their final three matches, winning six of their last seven matches.
The team is led by several players, with Sebastian Acuna, Zackery Kennedy, and Andrei Andrukhou all having at least 10 singles wins. Acuna and Kennedy lead the team in singles wins with 12 each, while Andrukhou and Felipe Jaworski lead the team in match-clinching wins with three each.
The team has shown momentum in doubles play during the last half of the season after struggling early on. Kennedy and Jannis Koeke are 4-0 at the No. 1 position, earning a No. 80 ITA Ranking in the most recent rankings.
