ATLANTA – Georgia State is currently accepting nominations for its third Athletics Hall of Fame class which honors and recognizes the accomplishments of the university's great student-athletes, coaches, administrators and special contributors.

Although nominations can be accepted at anytime, a deadline of July 15 is currently in place for the third class. Only those meeting the nomination guidelines will be accepted and shown before the committee.

The group will be honored on the field during football season and receive their awards at the Student-Athlete Banquet in April 2018.

The inaugural class of 10 was inducted two years ago with 10 more being inducted in this second class. A maximum of five will be inducted into the third class and all future classes.

The Hall of Fame Election Committee was appointed early in the spring of 2015 with the task of creating guidelines for nomination and selection. This same group was charged with selecting the inaugural class, however, fans can nominate deserving candidates which will be viewed by the committee.

The Georgia State Athletics Wall of Fame is currently housed on the third floor of the the GSU Sports Arena.
