ATLANTA- The Georgia State men's soccer team will head to Charleston, S.C. to play College of Charleston Tuesday night for the second match in three-game road stretch.
The Panthers are 5-3 this season and are on a two-match win-streak, defeating Winthrop at home and Presbyterian on the road. The team previously defeated then-No. 2 Wake Forest in overtime on the road in a defeat of the highest ranking opponent in program history.
The offense is led by Rashid Alarape, with the senior forward ranking No. 6 in the country with six total goals. Alarape has scored three game-winners, putting the game away for GSU in the last two matches.
Hannes Burmeister has scored three times this season, including the game-winning goal against USC Upstate during opening weekend.
