ATLANTA - Georgia State's track and field team will kick off its 2018 indoor season this weekend at the UAB Blazer Invite Friday and the UAB Vulcan Invite Saturday.

The Blazer Invite begins at 11 a.m. ET on Friday. Lotte Meyberg will be the first GSU competitor as she runs the mile at noon. The Panthers will also compete in the weight throw, long jump, 500m, 3000m, 60m, 1000m, shot put, 300m, distance medley relay, and the final event of the day, the 4x400m relay.

Georgia State will do the same events Saturday at the Vulcan Invite but will also compete in the high jump, 400m, 800m, triple jump, and the 200m.
