Beach Volleyball - Archives 2018
With autumn nearing and the fall season just around the corner, Georgia State beach volleyball is excited to have three graduate transfers joining the team for the 2017-18 campaign. The coaches and players are pleased to welcome Tiffany Creamer, Annika Van Gunst, and Teegan Van Gunst to the GSU family. All three athletes are Georgia natives, and enrolled at Georgia State this fall. Each of the three has experience competing at the highest level of collegiate athletics, as Creamer played court and beach volleyball for Stetson and the Van Gunst sisters both shined on the court at Georgia Tech.
With classes back in session, the Georgia State beach volleyball team is excited to announce the signing of five freshmen to its program. The coaching staff and players are pleased to welcome Ashley Bauchert, Bekah Brodbeck, Eden Hawes, Mattie Johnson and Meagan McCall to the Panther Family. All five student-athletes enrolled at GSU this fall.
Excelling on the court and in the classrooms, both the beach and court volleyball teams received the 2016-2017 American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award, making GSU one of only 13 schools to earn the honor for both sports.
