Steve Wojcikowski, a member of the Georgia State Athletics Department since 2013 with more than a decade of experience in athletics administration, was named assistant athletic director for football operations in July 2016.

Wojcikowski originally joined the GSU staff as in January 2013 as assistant athletic director for facilities and operations. In that role for three-plus years, he was responsible for Georgia State's athletics facilities, both on and off campus, as well as event management for all sports.

Prior to joining Georgia State, Wojcikowski served as the director of athletic events Marshall in Huntington, W.Va., in his second stint there. He was the game operations manager for the Thundering Herd's 16 Division I athletic programs and the event coordinator and facility manager for Marshall's 38,000-seat John C. Edwards Stadium (football) and 9,000-seat Cam Henderson Center (men's and women's basketball) on game days.

Wojcikowski started at Miami (Fla.) as assistant director of athletic events. He was the event coordinator for the Hurricanes' baseball, volleyball, swimming and diving and rowing athletic programs, including serving as the event coordinator for the baseball team's 2008 regional and super regional. He assisted the operations staff with the football, men's and women's basketball, soccer and track and field programs.

Wojcikowski earned his master's degree in sport administration from Marshall in 2008 while working as a graduate assistant in the athletic facilities management and game day operations department. During this time he maintained all athletic facilities and coordinated the set up and break down for all athletic department events. He was the head grounds crew supervisor for the University Heights baseball field.

Wojcikowski graduated from Medaille College in Buffalo, N.Y., with a bachelor's degree in sport management in 2005. He is married to the former Amanda Smith.
