2016: Started 60 games in center field as a junior and ranked third on the team with a .320 average at the plate… Brown provided some theatrics early in the season and helped GSU to three midweek non-conference wins… Against Georgia Tech on Feb. 17, Brown tied the game with an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh... Against St. John’s, Brown once again provided an RBI-single in the bottom of the seventh that tied that game... Against Kennesaw State, Brown tied the game with an RBI-single in the bottom of the sixth before hitting a walkoff RBI-single in the bottom of the eighth… Brown patrolled the outfield effectively and tallied 90 putouts for the Panthers.
2015: Appeared in all 60 games on the season, including 59 starts … Finished the season with a career high .297 batting average … Recorded 51 hits, one double, two triples and a sacrifice fly while scoring 35 times and driving in 13 runs … Also drew 13 walks and stole eight bases … Scored a season-high three times against Savannah State and Mount St. Mary’s both in the Panther Invitational … Reached home safely twice against FGCU, Eastern Michigan, Troy, Appalachian State, and Troy in the Sun Belt Conference Championship … Recorded a season-high three hits versus Mount St. Mary’s, Eastern Michigan, Furman, Appalachian State and UL Monroe … Also drove in a season-high two runs against Troy .. Named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll after both the fall and spring semesters.
2014: Played in 53 games, including 43 starts as a true freshman … Finished with 22 runs scored, 28 hits, one triple and eight RBI … Was second on the team with 11 stolen bases … Drove in a season-high two runs against Stoney Brook … Recorded one RBI against Indiana, Bowling Green, East Tennessee State, Mercer, Kennesaw State … Finished 3-for-3 with one RBI versus Texas State … Registered two hits against Mercer, Kennesaw State twice and Texas State … Named to the Dean’s List after the spring semester and the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll in the fall.
Prep: Four year starter playing behind the plate and in the outfield at Walnut Grove High School in Loganville, Ga. … Coached by Taylor Brooks … Two-time all-state, three-time all-region and two-time all-county selection … As a senior, selected to the Georgia Dugout Club all-star game and the North vs. South all-star game … Named region player of the year after junior season … Also lettered three years in track … Honored as a scholar athlete … Played travel ball for Georgia Elite.
