Hit his first homer of the season with a solo shot in the first inning vs. VCU (2-20-16) ... Hit a leadoff home run vs. Coppin State (2-27-16, Game 1), the fourth time in his career he has led off a game with homer ... Had two outfield assists in the season opener vs. Western Michigan (2-19-16).

Hit a game-tying, solo homer in the eighth inning vs. Arkansas State (3-19-16), allowing GSU to win the game in the 10th. Also had a double in the game for the 100th hit of his career ... Threw out a runner at home plate in Game 3 of the Arkansas State series, when he also led off the game with a triple ... Had three hits at Auburn (4-5-16) ... Helped preserve Wayne Wages’ one-hitter vs. Appalachian State (4-22-16) with a spectacular diving catch. Made another diving catch in Game 3 of the series ... 2015: First-team All-Sun Belt Conference, despite missing the last month of the season with a hand injury ... Team’s leading hitter at .330 with six homers and 22 RBI ... Added 11 doubles and four triples ... Led the Sun Belt with 42 runs scored when he was injured

Named Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week and Sun Belt Player of the Week on March 16 after he went 11-for-16 with three homers in three games ... Homered twice in the same inning vs. Kennesaw State (3-1-15). Led off the fifth with a solo homer and then hit a one-out grand slam. Just the second GSU player ever to hit two homers in an inning (Josh Vandiver vs. Alabama State, 2000) and the first with five RBI in an inning. ... Followed by collecting eight hits in 11 at-bats with a homer and a triple in doubleheader sweep at Arkansas State. In Game 1, he homered and then led off the 12th inning with a triple and scored the go-ahead run. Added four hits in the nightcap.

One game later vs. FAMU (3-17-15), he went 4-for-6 with a double and a triple in 12-11, 11-inning victory. For second time in three games, he tripled in extra innings and scored the winning run ... In 10-inning win over UL Lafayette (3-20-15) two games later, he led off the 10th with a single and scored the winning run.

Figured prominently in back-to-back extra-inning wins at UT Arlington. On Saturday, he doubled in the 11th inning to put runners at second and third with one out. After GSU tied the game, he scored an insurance run. One day later in the 10th inning with a runner at third and one out, he was intentionally walked before GSU scored the winning run on a wild pitch.

Drove in the tying run with a one-out single in the eighth inning and then scored the go-ahead run against UALR (4-3-15) as GSU rallied from a 7-1 deficit for a 13-8 victory.

Had Georgia State’s only hit off South Alabama (4-24-15) starter Kevin Hill as he broke up a no-hitter with a one-out single in the ninth inning ... Had a leadoff homer in Game 3 of South Alabama series.

Leadoff home run vs. UMass Lowell (2-21-15), when he scored two runs and drove in two ... 4-for-10 with five runs scored in Eastern Michigan series (March 6-8).

2014: Saw action in 54 games, including 24 starts in center field ... Hit .238 with three homers, 13 RBI and 19 runs scored ... Delivered three pinch hits in the eighth inning or later ... Contributed five sacrifice bunts and was 6-for-7 on stolen bases.

Had his best game in a Panther uniform in a 7-4 win over South Alabama (5-3-14), when he hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning, and then in the eighth, he drove in the go-ahead run with a bases-loaded, bunt single.

Hit his first home run at Ole Miss (2-23-14), providing a crucial insurance run in the eighth inning of GSU’s 6-4 victory ... Drove in another key run in the seventh inning of GSU’s 3-2 win at Georgia ... Batting in the leadoff spot for the first time, he led off the game at UL Lafayette (3-22-14) with a homer ... Went 5-for-7 with five runs scored in two games against Alabama A&M, including a 3-for-4 performance with three runs scored in the first game (3-25-14) ...

Started GSU’s ninth-inning rally with a leadoff single and then scored the winning run on Caden Bailey’s walk-off hit in 8-7 win over Mercer (4-9-14) ... One game later he started another game-winning rally vs. UT Arlington (4-11-14) with a pinch-hit single in the eighth inning ... Drove in a run with another eighth-inning, pinch-hit single in the Sunday game vs. UTA (4-13-14).

HIGH SCHOOL: Helped lead Atlanta-area prep powerhouse Parkview High School to back-to-back state titles in Georgia’s largest classification (2011 and 2012) and the No. 1 national ranking by Baseball America in 2012, followed by a berth in the Class AAAAAA state semifinals in 2013 … First-team all-county by the Gwinnett County Dugout Club and the Gwinnett Daily Post in 2013 … Hit .352 with nine homers, 26 RBI, 41 runs scored and 14 stolen bases as a senior ...
