Named Sun Belt Baseball Community Coffee Student-Athlete of the Week (April 4) after he hit .625 (10-for-16) with two homers, seven RBI and eight runs scored in four games.His three-run homer was key blow in 10-6 win at Mercer (3-30-16). Then he went 9-for-14 with another homer, four RBI and six runs scored in UT Arlington series (April 1-3). Career-high four hits with three RBI and three runs in Game 2.
Drove in the first run in GSU’s three-run 11th-inning rally vs. Appalachian State (5-4 win, 4-24-16) with a double to left center ... Hit a two-run homer in GSU’s eight-run second innings vs. Alabama A&M (5-3-16) ... His three-run blast in the seventh inning at Texas State (5-8-16) put GSU ahead 9-4; Panthers went on to win 10-9 in 11 innings.
Smashed a three-run homer, his first of the season, vs. Coppin State (2-27-16, Game 1) ... Hit his second home run with a two-run blast at Georgia Tech (3-1-16) ... Doubled and scored in the ninth inning of 6-3 victory at Arkansas State ... Collected three hits, including two doubles, and drove in four at Alabama A&M (3-24-15). Came to the plate with the GSU trailing by one in the top of the ninth inning and cleared the bases with a double over the center fielder’s head ...
