2015 (Georgia State): Played in 13 of 18 matches in first season at GSU, missing five with injuries...Started nine games ... Logged 732 minutes...Scored eight points with three goals and two assists ... Had the assist in his first match at GSU (at Jacksonville, 8/28) ... Scored first goal in third match (Mercer, 9/3) ... Add goal in GSU's win over UNC Asheville (10/27) ... Scored important goal in Panthers win at Georgia Southern (11/7) ... Took 12 shots on season with six on goal ... Had game-winning goals vs. UNC Asheville and Georgia Southern.
2014 (University of the District of Columbia): Appeared in 16 of 17 total matches for the Division II Firebirds of the East Coast Conference in the nation's capital ... Started 14 matches and finished second on the team with 20 points ... Was tied for the team lead with eight goals and was second with four assists ... Opened the season with a goal at Slippery Rock (9/4) ... Picked up a goal and an assist for a season-high three points against Queens (N.Y.) (9/17) ... Also recorded three points in a 2-0 victory over Chestnut Hill (10/8) ... Registered two assists at St. Thomas Aquinas (10/15) ... Closed out the season with a goal in three-straight games ... Attempted 34 total shots and was 3-for-3 on penalty kicks.
2013: (University of the District of Columbia): Played in 14 matches, including 13 starts … Finished third on the team in scoring with 11 points on five goals and one assist … Scored the game-winning goal in final seconds of 1-0 victory over Nyack (9/14) … Recorded a hat trick (three goals), including the game winner, in 5-2 triumph over Molloy (10/2) … Finished 2-for-2 on penalty kicks on the season and took 21 shots overall.
Prep: Smiljanic attended Barnsely College where he played soccer as a center-midfielder ... Led his team to a second-place finish in the North of England College's league …. Played for Machester United Youth Soccer ... He also has a level-three diploma in Sport Development, Coaching and Fitness.
