Brooke Torres has been a member of the Georgia State athletics staff since June 2015 and is currently serving as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. She is working primarily with the Panthers’ softball team during her first year in Atlanta.
Torres is from Marietta, Ga., and is currently working toward a Master of Science in Sports Medicine from Georgia State and plans to graduate in 2017. She graduated from Georgia College & State University in May of 2015 with a B.S. in athletic training.
While attending Georgia College, Torres worked with GCSU's volleyball team, Wesleyan College softball, Piedmont Orthopedics (of Macon), and Georgia Military College football. During the summer of 2014, Torres completed an internship with Resurgens Orthopaedics of Atlanta.
Torres is a licensed athletic trainer by the state of Georgia and is a certified athletic trainer by the National Athletic Trainers' Association. She is also a member of National Athletic Trainers' Association and is a certified emergency medical responder and certified in first aid by the American Red Cross.
