Kim Denne joined the women's soccer staff as an assistant coach in July 2016. Denne comes to Georgia State after a year as the Director of Operations of the Vanderbilt soccer program.

Denne has one year of coaching experience prior to her tenure with the Commodores, serving as a volunteer coach under Paul Cairney at UNC Wilmington during the 2014 season. The Seahawks earned a 7-9-2 overall record, going 2-6-1 in the CAA during her time with the team.

A Fremont, Calif., native, Denne attended Foothill College in Los Altos, Calif., for two seasons before transferring to DePaul University in Chicago.

At Foothill, Denne helped the team to the first of two-straight Coast Conference championships as a freshman. As a sophomore, she was team captain and collected First Team All-Conference honors. Denne, a two-year recipient of Foothill College Scholar Athlete Award, ended her career at Foothill with six goals and a pair of assists. 

Denne was a two-time member of the Big East Conference All-Academic Team at DePaul, where she led the Blue Demons to victories over Ohio, Pittsburgh and Villanova as a junior. She played in two matches before a season-ending injury her senior year.

Denne earned her bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Advertising from DePaul in June 2014 and received her NSCAA National Diploma in January 2015.
