2017: In her first season as a Panther, McMonigle started 51 games at shortstop and recorded a .295 batting average with five doubles, a triple, a home run and 16 RBI… McMonigle scored 31 runs and drew 15 walks… She recorded 100 assists and 58 putouts on defense and was a perfect 4-for-4 on stolen base attempts… She ranked fifth on the team in on-base percentage (.360), fifth in runs scored (31), fifth in doubles (5) and was fourth in walks (15)… The freshman hit her first career home run on March 12 in a win over South Alabama.

Prep: McMonigle went to Greenbrier High School where she was a four-year starter at shortstop and third base... McMonigle was named all-state, all-region and all-country all four years of her prep career... During her junior year the Wolfpack captured the Georgia High School AAAAA State Championship and she was awarded the AAAAA State Player of the Year by both the GACA and GADC... During her senior year she batted .500 with an on-base percentage of .543... On the base paths, she was 33 for 34 in stolen bases... She was a career .474 hitter that had 95 career stolen bases while only being thrown out 4 times... She also had a 75 consecutive stolen base streak to go along with a 28 game hitting streak... During her career she received the following awards: Augusta Chronicle Player of the Year, Columbia County News Player of the Year, GACA All-State, GACA All-Star, GADC Elite 80, All-Region, and Greenbrier High School Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year Award... She played travel ball with the East Cobb Bullets where she was selected to the 2015 and 2016 Flo Softball All-American squad and was ranked as one of the top-125 players in the country.

Personal: McMonigle is the daughter of Doug and Tammy Mcmonigle. She has two siblings, Jessica and Aaron.
