ATLANTA- Georgia State men’s tennis head coach Brett Ross announced the Panthers’ six tournament fall schedule Friday afternoon. Highlighting the slate are four tournaments in the state of Georgia, including the ITA Regionals Tournament hosted by Georgia Tech.

The team will open the tournament schedule at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships hosted by Georgia for the third year in a row, travelling to Athens, Ga. from Sept. 22-25. The Panthers have earned singles bracket wins in back-to-back years, as well as a top-place finish by Felipe Jaworski and Jack MacFarlane in doubles play.

The Mercer Invitational will be the first October tournament for the team, taking place from Oct. 6-8 in Macon, Ga. A week later the Panthers will compete in the ITA Regionals at Georgia Tech, the last tournament in Georgia for a month.

Georgia State will compete in the ITF Futures tournament from Oct. 27-Nov. 4 in Birmingham, Ala, the first time the team has competed in the tournament.

GSU will head to Winston-Salem, N.C. for the third time in two years for the Wake Forest Invitational from Nov. 3-5, for the second-straight year. The team will close out the tournament slate at the Georgia Tech Invitational from Nov. 10-12.

The Panthers will return seven veterans, including four starters, from last year’s squad that earned a program-high No. 30 ITA ranking and won the Sun Belt Conference Championship.
