ATLANTA- The Georgia State will host the Belmont Bruins Tuesday night at the LakePoint Sporting Community. The match was originally scheduled to be played at the GSU Soccer Complex but was moved due to field conditions.

The Panthers are 3-2 this season and are coming off a tough 1-0 overtime loss at Lipscomb.

The team has allowed just three goals this season, shutting out Mercer and USC Upstate during opening weekend. Georgia State has outscored its opponents 6-3, with Hannes Burmeister netting three goals and Rashid Alarape scoring twice.

The Panthers defeated No. 2 Wake Forest in a 2-1 overtime thriller last Tuesday in the victory over the highest-ranked opponent in program history. Alarape scored the game-winner over the Demon Deacons, his first of the season.

The Bruins will face Georgia State for the twelfth time in series history, with the Panthers holding an 8-3-0 series advantage. The last time the programs met was in 2014, with Belmont earning a 2-0 victory.

Belmont is 1-0-2 this season, with its last match against Northern Kentucky under review by the Horizon League. The team defeated Niagra 6-1 to close out September play and most recently tied Dayton 0-0 in double overtime.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. in Emerson, Ga., and live stats will be available at GeorgiaStateSports.com. Parking is $5 per car and admission is free.
