ATLANTA- Georgia State men’s soccer student-athletes Max Hemmings and Frank Rosenwald were named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District, announced by College Sports Information Directors of America Thursday.

Rosenwald and Hemmings were both named to the First Team for Division 4, having the second and third highest GPA on the district team, respectively.

Hemmings ranks third on the team with four goals, two of which were game-winners. The Wokingham, England native has 14 career goals and has helped lead the Panthers to be one of the top scoring offenses in the nation.

Rosenwald has posted one goal this season, scoring six career goals. The Exeter, England native ranked third on the team in goals last season as a true freshman, scoring the game-winner over UNC Asheville on the road.

Hemmings and Rosenwald are two of three CoSIDA Academic All-District selections for GSU this fall, with women’s soccer player Kylie Ruffule also being honored.

The pair are the first to be honored in men’s soccer program history.
