ATLANTA -- Kickoff times have been set for four Georgia State football games that will appear on ESPN platforms, including the season opener vs. Kennesaw State at "Pete" Petit Field at Georgia State Stadium.

The Panthers open the 2018 season by hosting the Owls on Thursday, Aug. 30 in a game that will kick off at 7 p.m. and will air on ESPN+.

Georgia State will also play three weeknight road games that will air on ESPN networks.

On Friday, Sept. 14, the Panthers play at Memphis in a 7 p.m. ET kickoff on ESPN.

In October, Georgia State plays a pair of Thursday night conference games at Troy on Oct. 4 and at Arkansas State on Oct. 18. Both contests will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET and air on ESPNU.

Georgia State's Sept. 8 game at NC State was previously announced as a 12:30 p.m. kickoff on Fox Sports RSN. Kickoff times and television designations for the remaining seven games on the 2018 schedule will be announced 12 days prior to each contest, but all remaining games will air on one of the ESPN platforms.
