Jonathan Wolff was hired as the assistant men's tennis coach at Georgia State in February 2015 and was promoted to head coach in November of 2017 after serving as interim head coach of the program for three months.

“We are excited to promote Jonathan to Head Men’s Tennis Coach,” Senior Associate A.D. for External Affairs Brian Kelly said. “Jonathan played an integral role in the team’s success the past two and a half years as an assistant coach, and we look forward to him building upon what he helped establish.  He is eager to continue to help these young men grow academically and athletically.”

During the 2017 season, Wolff helped lead the Panthers' to program-high No. 30 ITA ranking. The team opened up the season with a 4-2 victory over then-No. 27 Florida State, the second-biggest victory in program history. Wolff also helped lead the team to its second-consecutive No. 1 seed at the Sun Belt Tournament, as well as a 2017 Sun Belt Conference title and NCAA Tounament automatic bid.

Wolff competed for the men's tennis team at Wake Forest for four years (2007-11) and was the team captain for his last two seasons. During his time with the Demon Deacons, Wolff was named to the Atlantic Coast Conference's All-Academic team twice and was ranked in the top-40 for both singles and doubles by the ITA.

Wolff moved to Atlanta after working for IMG Tickets in Miami since 2012. He has previously worked in various roles for multiple tennis competitions, including the Miami Open and Atlanta's BB&T Open. He earned his Masters in Sports Administration from the University of Miami (Fla.) in 2013.

Wolff has previous coaching experience as well, serving as a volunteer assistant for Wake Forest's women's tennis team for the 2012 season and working as a personal tennis coach at Sportime Fitness in Bethpage, N.Y. in 2011.
