Jamal R. Terry is in his third year as Georgia State's assistant strength and conditioning coach. He works with all 16 sports providing speed training, weight training, and a array of speciality work.
Terry served as president of his senior class and was an Academic All-American. After college he moved to the University of South Florida, where he worked under strength coach Ron McKeefery.
He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Incorporated and the Black Coaches Association.
Terry and his wife, Shimena, reside in Atlanta.
A native of Atlanta, Terry graduated from Morris Brown College in 2000 with a B.S. in recreation. He was a three-year starter and captain of the Wolverine football team. He earned all-conference honors in football while also participating in baseball and track and field.
