Career: Ali Elkhalil played in 42 matches, starting seven, in his career at Georgia State. He accumulating more than 1,576 minutes played. He scored three career goals on 27 total shots and picked up one assist for a total of seven points.
2014: Appeared in 17 of 18 total matches with two starts … Set career highs in goals scored (2), assists (1) and points (5) as a senior … Found the back of the net at UNCG (9/20) and at Howard (10/31) in Sun Belt action … Assisted on Andy Anglade’s match-winning goal at Appalachian State (10/18) in the Panthers’ first conference win since 2012 … Attempted 12 shots on the season, including four on target … Attempted a career high three shots against South Carolina (9/30) and Howard … Fired shots on goals versus UNCG, Appalachian State, Howard and Georgia Southern (11/8).

Saw action in GSU’s 3-0 victories over Presbyterian College on Sept. 5 and FAU on Sept. 16 ... Finished the season with 62 minutes played.
Prep: Elkhalil played four years at Walton High School in Marietta, Ga. as a right midfielder and striker under head coach Bucky Boozer ... He played for the NASA 11’ Elite club team that won the CASL in 2009 and 2010 ... He also won two 5A state championships in 2008 and 2011 ... He scored both goals in a 2-1 victory over Collins Hill in the 2011 5A championship game ... Had 11 assists during his junior season and 14 goals during his senior season ... Was named to the 2010 All-Cobb County team ... Scored 37 career goals and tallied 34 career assists in high school.
