ATLANTA-The Panther Athletic Club (PAC) is pleased to announce that the Inaugural GSU Football Kickoff Luncheon will be held at the Capital City Club - Downtown on August 25, 2011. Head Football coach Bill Curry will headline this signature event as the keynote speaker.
The luncheon will give fans an inside look into how the team has progressed throughout their spring and summer practices, an outlook on the season, and a preview of the Panthers' opponents.
"I am pleased to announce the start of an exciting annual event hosted by the Panther Athletic Club," said Joe Reinkemeyer, President of the Panther Athletic Club Board, and Tax Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. "The PAC has continued its unprecedented growth thanks to the passionate involvement of GSU alumni, fans, and the community. The GSU Football Kickoff Luncheon will offer a unique opportunity for donors, season ticketholders, and the GSU community to get involved and to hear Coach Curry speak about the upcoming season."
Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. at the Capital City Club - Downtown location on Harris Street. A silent auction will feature items such as game worn football jerseys, unique football team travel opportunities, and exclusive football game-day experiences. Lunch will be served at noon.
Tables for the event are available for $1,000/table and include seating for eight guests. Tables will also include two seats for a GSU football student-athlete and/or football coach. Individual seats are available for $100/seat. Each attendee will receive a special GSU Athletics gift from the PAC. All proceeds for the event directly impact the lives of over 350 GSU student-athletes. Seats are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Members of the Panther Athletic Club have the opportunity to purchase tables or individual seats prior to the general public. PAC members may reserve their table or individual seat(s) starting June 27th. The general public will be able to purchase a table or individual seat(s) on July 11th.
