Jamie Boggs

Jamie P. Boggs, formerly a senior athletics administrator at Duke, joined the Georgia State staff as Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance and Sports Services and Senior Woman Administrator in October of 2011.

Boggs spent a total of seven years in the Duke athletics department, most recently as Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance. In addition to overseeing Duke's compliance program, she served as sport supervisor for the men's and women's fencing program.

Boggs originally joined the Duke athletics staff as compliance coordinator in 2003 and spent two years in that role before being elevated to compliance director in 2005 and then to Assistant AD in 2007.

Before going to Duke, Boggs spent one year with the Sports Management Group Worldwide (SMGW), where she worked as Director of Sports Management, representing professional baseball players and securing marketing contracts for National Football League players. She previously served internships with the Orlando Magic, working with corporate sponsorships, and with the Chicago White Sox in public relations.

Boggs graduated from the University of San Diego in 1999 with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. She went on to attend law school at the University of Arizona and received a Juris Doctor in 2002. She is a member of the State Bar of Arizona.

A native of Phoenix, Ariz., the former Jamie Pootrakul is married to Matthew Boggs, and the couple has one son, Aiden.
