With the holiday season upon us, Georgia State and Jason's Deli of Midtown partnered to bring smiles to a few extra children's faces this December. As part of Georgia State's annual Toys for Tots drive, Jason's Deli lent a helping hand to make sure the event was extra special.
Todd Perry, the general manager of Jason's Deli in Midtown brought a group of Atlanta market managers and employees to last Saturday's Georgia State basketball game against William & Mary, along with more than 50 toys which were donated to Toys for Tots. The group earned a much deserved pregame meal and were then honored on the court during the Panthers big win.
Georgia State partners with Toys for Tots every year during the holiday season. The mission of Toys for Tots is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the immediate community.
Jason's Deli is a proud sponsor of Georgia State athletics, catering numerous events during the year for all of the Panther teams.
Both season and individual game tickets for the 2011-12 season are now on sale. A variety of packages can be found by visiting GeorgiaStateSports.com or by calling 1-866-GA-STATE.
