Assistant Director of Athletics - Compliance

Erik Paz was named Georgia State University's Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance.

Paz served nearly four years at assistant compliance director at Marshall University, where he worked with all sports and developed expertise in all areas of compliance, including recruiting, initial and continuing eligibility and financial aid.

Before going to Marshall in May 2008, he spent one year as a compliance intern at the University of Miami.

A native of Miami, Fla., Paz earned his bachelor's degree in sport administration from Miami in 2008, and he added a master's in sport administration from Marshall.
