Grant King is making his move with a streak of 22 consecutive starts for GSU in having been in the starting lineup for all the games the first two seasons in Panther football history.
The 6-5, 295-pounder has been the Panthers' anchor on the offensive line at the right tackle position, beginning with the inaugural game win over Shorter in 2010. King had been a member of GSU's first recruiting class in 2009 and took a redshirt season while the football program formed and grew.
The Columbia, S.C. native was a team captain and most valuable offensive lineman at Spring Valley High in South Carolina's capital city. King was chosen to the all-region team as well as the North-South All-Star game in South Carolina.
