Tied the GSU and Sun Belt single-game record with three homers on Senior Day against South Alabama (5-4-14) and was named Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week for the second time. Homered in three consecutive at-bats with a solo homer to right center in the fourth inning, a two-run blast to center in the sixth that put the Panthers ahead for good and another two-run bomb to left in the seventh. His is the sixth three-homer game in GSU history by five different players. Finished the game with five RBI. Led off the fourth inning with his first homer of the day to ignite a seven-run inning. Came up in seventh inning of a 9-9 game and crushed a home run to straight away center, giving GSU an 11-9 lead. Finished with a towering, two-run homer to left field to extend lead to 15-10 ... One day earlier (5-3-14), with GSU trailing 4-3, he led off the eighth inning with a double off the wall in center field to start the four-run, game-winning rally.

Hit home run No. 17 at ULM (5-10-14), a solo shot that tied the game at 6-6 in the eighth inning, and then No. 18 was a two-run blast in the eighth inning of a one-run loss at Mercer (5-13-14).

Named Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week for the first time, as well as NCBWA National Hitter of the Week and Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week on March 17 after hitting .579 (11-for-19) with five homers and 15 RBI in five games. Compiled a 1.421 slugging percentage and a .625 on-base percentage for a remarkable OPS of 2.046 ... Homered in both ends of Saturday’s doubleheader against WKU (3-15-14). In GSU’s 4-3 loss in game one, he drove in all three Panther runs with a homer, a double and a single. In the nightcap, he hit another solo homer in the first inning, delivered a two-out, run-scoring single to tie the game at 4-4 in the fifth, and then gave GSU a 5-4 lead in the seventh on a fielder’s choice as the 6-6, 240-pounder beat the throw at first base to score the go-ahead run.

Homered twice in series at nationally-ranked UL Lafayette (3-22-14 and 3-23-14) ... Smashed two homers and drove in six runs in win over Siena (3-12-14). Had a three-run homer in the sixth and a two-run blast in the seventh, plus a sacrifice fly. Went 5-for-7 with three homers and nine RBI in the two-game series against the Saints.

Went 4-for-5 to lead GSU to win in series finale vs. Xavier (3-9-14). Hit a solo homer and then started the Panthers’ ninth-inning rally when he led off the inning with an opposite-field double off the wall ... One game earlier he had an RBI-single in the ninth inning to pull the  Panthers within 11-10 before falling.

Drove in the go-ahead run with a two-out single in the eighth inning of GSU’s series-clinching win over Illinois ... Homered in back-to-back games against Northern Kentucky ... Hit safely in the first 11 games of the season.

2013: Second on the team with eight homers while batting .247 and driving in 32 ... Led the team with 27 walks ... Had a .985 fielding percentage.

Belted two home runs in GSU’s 12-10, comeback win over Old Dominion (3-16-13). With GSU trailing 10-1, he started the comeback with a two-run homer in the sixth, and then he hit a solo blast with one out in the ninth that pulled the Panthers within 10-9 ...  Drove in a career-high four runs with a single and a three-run homer in win over Kennesaw State (4-9-13) ... Also homered in a 9-3 victory over Fordham (4-6-13).

Hit his eighth homer of the season, a solo shot, in GSU’s 12-11 win over Towson (5-3-13) ... Went 4-for-10 in the Towson series sweep with three RBI.

Started GSU’s ninth-inning rally at Kennesaw State (4-16-13) when he was hit by pitch to lead off ninth, setting up the tying run in a game the Panthers won in extra innings ... Hit a two-run homer in win at James Madison (4-20-13) ... Drove in four runs with a two-run homer and a two-run double in win over Savannah State (4-23-13) ... Added a two-run homer, his seventh of the season, in a 6-0 victory at Northeastern (4-27-13) ... In 5-4 win over Boston College, he drove in the tying run with a sacrifice fly ...

2012 (Eastern Arizona): Played one season at Eastern Arizona College, where he earned all-conference honors ... Posted a .326 batting average with 32 RBI and two home runs ... Spent the 2011 season at Hofstra but played in just three games.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner at Decatur High School, where he was coached by Georgia State baseball alumnus Rusty Bennett ... Under Armour Preseason All-American prior to senior season ... Earned all-state and all-region accolades following his senior season in 2010 ... Batted .425 as a senior ... Hit .398 as a junior and earned all-region honors ...
