ATLANTA - As the Bleed Blue Rewards program continues to grow, Georgia State has announced its first contests open only to rewards members. Georgia State is partnering with PlayStation to give away a PS Vita and a PS Vita Madden NFL13 Bundle through the Bleed Blue Rewards program as part of homecoming festivities.
To begin the festivities next week, three Playstation Vita events will take place, two here on campus. The first is Oct. 18 at the University Commons from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The second is Oct. 19, just outside the GSU Ticket Box Office, also from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The final event will take place at Georgia State's homecoming game against Villanova in the Orange Lot from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. One lucky winner, who must be either a Bleed Blue Rewards member or sign-up for the program will be selected to win a PS Vita. The winner must be present when announced during the fourth quarter of the football game to win and show proof of ID.
Bleed Blue Rewards members can also redeem 6000 Bleed Blue Rewards points to be entered into a contest to win a PS Vita. The contest runs from Oct. 9 at 1 p.m., until Oct. 17. at 5 p.m. ET. Members may redeem as many times as they would like as long as they have the required 6000 points each time they participate. The winner will be notified via e-mail at the conclusion of the contest.
Designed to help share Georgia State Athletics information and reward students and fans with great prizes, the program has taken off since being launched on July 31st. To date, more than 700 fans have signed up for the Bleed Blue Rewards program.
Fans who participate earn points for sharing and liking Georgia State Athletics Facebook posts, images and videos; retweeting GSU Athletics tweets; tweeting with certain hashtags; and/or checking in to Georgia State facilities on foursquare. Additionally, Georgia State students will receive points for attending home games for all Panther sports.
Accumulated points shall give fans the ability to win prizes through redemption opportunities as certain point levels are surpassed. Grand prizes will be awarded to three participants with the highest point totals on June 30, 2013. Points will then reset and the fun will begin again at a to be determined date.
Prizes include Georgia State Nike polos, season tickets and even AirTran Airways vouchers. A full list of prizes can be found by clicking here.
