ATLANTA – Georgia's
Own Credit Union, a proud sponsor of Georgia State Athletics, will be running a
Coin Count Promotion at this Saturday's Football Game as the Panthers take on
Old Dominion at 3:30 p.m. in the Georgia Dome. One lucky fan could win a check
for the amount of the money in the jar.
The jar full of coins will be placed in the
concourse level of the Georgia Dome during pre-game. Fans will have the chance
to take a look at the jar and then guess the number of dimes inside the jar
through a text feature or by dropping their information in a box near Gate D.
The winner will be announced in the second half
if the number is correctly guessed. The winner will receive a check from
Georgia's Own Credit Union in the winning amount.
If no fan guesses the correct amount, the jar
will then be taken to a men's home basketball home game later this season for
an additional chance for fans to guess the amount.
Saturday will mark Georgia State's final home game of the year and
head coach Bill Curry's last in the Georgia Dome as he has already announced
his retirement at the conclusion of the season.
