Georgia State University is celebrating its 100th year anniversary during 2013. There will be many events throughout the year celebrating the event, including a Centennial Game on Jan. 12th as the men's basketball team takes on Delaware.

Each day throughout the rest of basketball season, GeorgiaStateSports.com will look back on a defining or historic moment in Panther basketball history.

Jan. 12, 2002 – After an amazing 707 days, Georgia State finally lost a home game in the Sports Arena when A-Sun rival Jacksonville ended the Panthers' 25-game win streak with a 90-77 win before 1,859 fans.  Coach Hugh Durham's JU squad, 12-5, was tied for first place in the A-Sun.  Center Nate Williams led GSU with 24 points and 10 rebounds, but the Panthers were cold outside the 3-point arc, just 4-of-19, as the nation's current third-longest home court win streak ended.
