ATLANTA--Does your baby have what it takes to win the
Fourth Annual GSU Great Baby Race and earn bragging rights as "Atlanta's
fastest baby?"
The
Great Baby Race IV will be held at halftime of the Georgia State men's basketball
team's 2:00 p.m. game on Saturday, Feb. 9 vs. Towson. The roughly 25-foot raceway
gives your little bundle of joy the chance to show off their wheels to win
great prizes.
Each
racer will be introduced, prior to taking their marks on the starting line, to
the entire crowd at the GSU Sports Arena giving them ample opportunity to root
on their favorite baby racers. The race will be taped and ready for instant
replay in case of a photo finish. The winning family gets the large trophy and
the eternal honor of owning the title of Atlanta's fastest baby. All of the
families and racers get the satisfaction of giving their best effort and making
new friends.
To
register your baby, please submit a picture of your baby along with your baby's
full name, age and appropriate contact information to gsuathleticsmktg@gsu.edu. Tell us in
50 words or less why your baby should be picked as one of the quick crawlers in
this year's race and your baby could have a chance to become Atlanta's swiftest
crawler.
Participants
must be between the ages of 9-18 months and must ONLY be able to crawl. Prizes
are awarded to the top three baby finishers. Please see the rules list for the
complete details.
