Brandon Dobo has been a member of the Georgia State athletics staff since 2011 and is currently serving as an assistant athletic trainer working primarily with the football and men's golf teams. He also assists in the coordination of coverage for the GSU cheer and dance teams.
Dobo served as a graduate assistant for two years working with the cross country and track & field teams before joining the sports medicine staff full time in July of 2013. Dobo received a Master of Science in sports medicine from Georgia State in May of 2013.
Prior to coming to Atlanta, Dobo graduated from Georgia Southern with a B.S. in athletic training in May of 2011. While with the Eagles he worked with the football, men’s soccer, softball and volleyball teams. During the summer of 2010, Dobo complete an internship with the Detroit Lions of the NFL.
Dobo is a Licensed Athletic Trainer by the State of Georgia Department of Health and a Certified Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification. He is also a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Southeastern Athletic Trainers’ Association and Georgia Athletic Trainers’ Association.
