The Final Round of the Web.com Intercollegiate has been cancelled due to rain. The Panthers will return to the course for the Sun Belt Championship April 17-19.

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Georgia State shot rounds of 321 and 319 to open play in 16th place after 36 holes at the Web.com Intercollegiate at Marsh Landing Country Club.
Junior Paula Zabarte led the Panthers with rounds of 79 and 80 to stand tied for 59th with 18 holes to play.
“Today was a tough day,” head coach Cathy Mant said. “We made some big numbers that really hurt us. Tonight we will talk about what went right and try to go out and finish strong on Tuesday.”
Freshman Harmanprit Kaur added rounds of 82 and 78 to sit at 16-over par, tied for 63rd. Sophomore Jemima Gregson is tied for 69th at 17-over par following rounds of 78 and 83, while senior Jooeun Bae is tied for 76th at 18-over par shooting 82 and 80 on Monday. Redshirt-sophomore Emily Royer rounded out the line-up with rounds of 83 and 81 to sit at 20-over par and tied for 81st.
East Tennessee State leads the field at 22-over par following back-to-back rounds of 299. Cincinnati is in second at 26-over par, followed by Florida International in third at 32-over. Host Jacksonville is fourth at 34-over par, with Texas State, Central Arkansas, Delaware and Sam Houston State all tied for fifth at 37-over par.
Texas State’s Sasikam Somboonsup is the opening day leader at 4-under par following rounds of 68 and 72. FIU’s Camila Serrano is second at even par, with East Tennessee State’s Linda Dobele in third at 1-over. East Tennessee State’s Hee Ying Loy is fourth at 2-over par, with North Texas’ Lauren Cox rounding out the top five at 4-over.
Live scoring of the final round can be found at Golfstat.com. The field will utilize an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday for the final round.
Following this week’s tournament, Georgia State will return to action April 17-19 for the Sun Belt Conference Championship with an automatic bid to NCAA Regional play on the line.
