ATLANTA- Georgia State men’s tennis dropped a tight 4-3 match at Georgia Tech on Saturday afternoon. The loss snapped a three-match win streak for GSU and dropped the Panthers record to 7-7 on the season.

State got out to a hot start by winning the doubles point. Giles Hussey and Jack McFarlane teamed up to win their match 6-4, and Sebastian Acuna and Andrei Duarte won a tiebreak 8-6 to clinch the doubles portion of the match.

In singles action Acuna and Hussey would both win their matches in straight sets. However, it would not be enough as Georgia Tech took the remaining four singles matches to clinch a 4-3 win.

The Panthers will be back in action tomorrow morning for an 11:00 a.m. start against ETSU. The match will be at Piedmont Park and live stats and updates will be available.
