BOCA RATON- No. 11 GSU Beach keeps rolling, as the team went 3-0 Saturday in Boca Raton, Florida. The Panthers defeated Florida Gulf Coast, Houston Baptist, and No. 15 Florida Atlantic in the Burrow Beach Bash. Georgia State has won five duals in a row, and eight of their last nine.

"The team played together and represented our university with pride", said head coach Beth Van Fleet. "We played with focus, intention, and a lot of heart."

The Panthers swept Florida Gulf Coast 5-0 in the morning to kick start what would be a perfect day. GSU then defeated Houston Baptist 3-2 and FAU 4-1 in back to back duals in the afternoon session.

Graduate students Tiffany Creamer and Teegan Van Gunst shined for the Panthers winning all three of their matches in the one position. The duo defeated Florida Gulf Coast and Florida Atlantic in straight sets, and bested Houston Baptist in a three-set battle.

Georgia Johnson and Olivia Stasevich playing in the three flight and Amie Held and Kate Novack in the four flight went undefeated, each winning against FGCU and FAU and going 2-0 on the day.

The Panthers are now 10-3 on the season and 3-3 in conference play. GSU has a tough road ahead as the team travels to Columbia, South Carolina next weekend for four duals, three of which are against top-ten teams.
