Brianna Cheek is in her second year as a graduate assistant with the Georgia State Athletics Department working in Academic Support/Student-Athlete Development.
In her role as a graduate assistant, she assists with the day-to-day operations of the P.A.S.S. program, helps facilitate student-athlete academic progress, assists freshmen student-athletes with their transition from high school to college and mentors at-risk student-athletes. Cheek received her bachelor's degree in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Spanish from Georgia State University in 2016 and is currently pursuing her master's degree in Sport Administration.
During her undergraduate career at Georgia State, Cheek was an intern for the GSU Sport Communications department in 2014-15 and was a member of the GSU Cheer Squad in 2012-13. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Cheek is a Georgia native from Peachtree City, where she attended Starr’s Mill High School.
