Top Georgia State University alumni playing currently pro basketball

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Panthers players who continue their career in pro basketball.

   #1. Isaiah Williams (6'2''-G-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Ukraine) led Khimik to a victory against one of the league's weakest teams Odessa (0-3) 100-94 in the Ukrainian Superleague last Saturday. Williams recorded 16 points and added 9 assists in 25 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. BK Khimik-OPZ Yuhzny (3-0) is placed second in the Superleague. So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Williams has relatively good stats this year 15.0ppg, 2.0rpg and 7.5apg in two games he played so far. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

   #2. R.J. Hunter (6'6''-G-93, plays in Turkey) contributed to a Turk Telekom's victory against Afyon Bld 82-78 in the Turkish BSL on Sunday night. Hunter scored 14 points and added 5 passes. Turk Telekom Ankara (2-0) is placed fifth in the BSL. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Hunter's first year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Hunter averages 15.5ppg, 4.0rpg, and 2.5apg.

   #3. Eric Buckner (6'10''-C-90, currently in France) was the major contributor in an AS Monaco Basket's victory against the 13th-ranked Limoges CSP Elite (1-3) crushing them 86-66 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA in Saturday night's game. Buckner recorded 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in a mere 17 minutes. AS Monaco Basketis placed in the Jeep ELITE ProA. This year Buckner averages 10.0ppg and 5.0rpg in two games.

   #4. Jeremy Hollowell (6'8''-F-94, plays pro in Israel) could not help Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona (0-1) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Hollowell's good performance Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona was defeated93-81on the road by the leading Hapoel Jerusalem. He recorded 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. It was his first game for Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona this season. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.

   #5. Experienced Leroy Davis (6'7''-F-81, plays in Mexico) led Lenadores to a victory over the fifth-ranked Huracanes (3-5) 102-95 in the Mexican LNBP (second division) on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Davis scored 11 points in 20 minutes. Lenadores de Durango (7-2) is placed second in the East group. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. This year Davis averages 6.0ppg, 1.5rpg, 2.0apg, and 2.0spg in two games.
