MONROE, La. - After being tied at halftime, Georgia State compiled an 18-0 run in the third quarter to pull away from ULM and win 56-41 Saturday at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.

Allison Johnson's 15 points led Georgia State and Madison Ervin matched her season-high with 12 points, nine of which came in the second quarter.

Walnatia Wright contributed in the paint with nine points and a team-leading 10 rebounds. The Panthers out-rebounded the Warhawks 34-27. 

ULM got off to a hot start, leading 19-9 after the first quarter. Shots finally began to fall in the second period as Ervin pulled the Panthers back with three 3-pointers before halftime.

Coming out of halftime, Georgia State looked to finally find its groove, mounting an 18-0 run to take control of the game. GSU out-scored ULM 20-6 in the third quarter. K.K. Williams scored six points in the period and Jada Lewis had two assists.

With Saturday's win, Georgia State improves to 8-7 on the season and 2-2 in the Sun Belt.
