LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Georgia State was defeated 82-50 Saturday at the Jack Stephens Center in Little Rock.

Walnatia Wright led Georgia State with 11 points and nine rebounds.

The Trojans jumped out to a big lead thanks to Tori Lasker’s hot hand from long range. Lasker was on fire in the second quarter, going 4-for-4 from 3-point range. Lasker finished with a game-high 28 points.

Georgia State made a push in the third quarter coming out of halftime, but Little Rock finished the period on a 12-0 run to regain control.

The Panthers fall to 16-12 on the year and 10-7 in the conference.

GSU will host rival Georgia Southern Saturday, March 9 in the Sports Arena. GSU’s seven seniors will be honored pregame for Senior Day.
