Per the national rankings, he is the second-highest ranked player to ever sign with Georgia State.

Led University of Detroit Jesuit High School to a 95-10 record including four Catholic High School League (CHSL) Central Division titles, four CHSL Tournament Championships, four Operation Friendship (CHSL vs. Detroit Public League) titles, four MHSAA District titles, and four MHSAA Regional titles . . . Part of two trips to the MHSAA Final Four, an MHSAA State Runner-Up finish (2019) and the MHSAA State Championship in 2016.  

Named to the All-Catholic League Team, All-Detroit by the Detroit News, and the Detroit Free Press . . . An All-State selection in both 2018 and 2019.

As a senior helped guide the Cubs to a 25-3 record by averaging 13.4 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 3.3 blocks per game while leading the team shooting 63.0 percent from the field and 81.0 percent from the free-throw line . . . During his junior year, averaged 10.0 points, 12.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game, up from a sophomore season in which he averaged 6.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and one block per contest.
