At GSU: Multi-talented player who spent three seasons on campus, including a redshirt year in 2009... Appeared in 35 career matches... Averaged 1.61 digs per set, a .143 hitting percentage and 0.52 points per set... Also one of team's top students, earning President's List honors with a 4.0 GPA.

2011: Set personal highs for digs, assists, blocks and aces... Drilled career-high four aces in each of team's first two matches of the season, victories Aug. 26 over UALR and SE Missouri State at Memphis Invitational... Also posted 5 kills and a career-high 16 digs as Panthers beat UALR in 5 sets... 10 aces on the year helped GSU to more than any other CAA team... Fifth on team with 150 digs, posting at least 11 four separate times...  Had 11 digs at William & Mary Nov. 4 to help GSU clinch CAA Tournament berth... Had season-high three assists Aug. 27 in win over Alabama A&M.

2010: Saw her first action for the Panthers, competing in 11 matches on the year...Had a career-high eight kills, while hitting .368, to go along with three digs in a 3-1 victory over Northeastern...Produced seven kills and four digs in a 3-2 loss at James Madison...Saw her first action against Clemson, knocking two kills against the Tigers...Notched four kills in a 3-1 victory over UNC Wilmington...On the year had 24 kills, 26.5 points and 13 digs, while participating in 23 sets.  

2009: Redshirted the season.

2008 (Lindsey Wilson College): Earned Midsouth Conference Freshman of the Year honors and was a NAIA Volleyball All-America Honorable Mention after leading the Blue Raiders with 488 kills, a 4.14 kill per set average her freshman year...Also earned AVCA Southeast Region Team honors...Led the team to a 28-9 record, the second most successful season at the school in Columbia, Kentucky...Finished the year with a .307 hitting percentage and 57 aces, while also grabbing 443 digs.

High School: Graduated from Kantonsschule Ausserschwyz in Pfaffikon, but volleyball was not a sponsored sport in her high school.

Personal: Mirjam Pfyl is one of two children to Alois and Ursula Pfyl....She was born on May 29, 1989 in Schwyz, Switzerland...Has one older sister, Fabienne...Majoring in political science.
