ATLANTA - Georgia State Fans now have a new way to connect and support their GSU Panthers. Georgia State unveiled the Bleed Blue Rewards Program on Tuesday; a social media rewards program based on sharing Georgia State Athletic Department information.
Fans who participate will earn points for sharing and liking Georgia State Athletics Facebook posts, images and videos; retweeting GSU Athletics tweets; tweeting with certain hashtags; and/or checking in to Georgia State facilities on foursquare. Additionally, Georgia State students will receive points for attending home games beginning with regular season soccer games in late August.
"Social media is all about word of mouth in this new digital age," commented Ike Fullard, Associate Athletics Director for Corporate Sales & Sponsorships. "Our world is evolving around social media and we want to continue to be at the forefront of this change. We believe that the Bleed Blue Rewards program will allow us to continue to extend our reach and give our fans a new way to interact with athletics while becoming eligible for great prizes."
Accumulated points shall give fans the ability to win prizes through redemption opportunities as certain point levels are surpassed. Grand prizes will be awarded to three participants with the highest point totals on June 30, 2013. Points will then reset and the fun will begin again on July 1, 2013.
Signing up is fast and easy. Visit www.BleedBlueRewards.com now to activate an account and start earning points.
