Georgia State finished its final preparations on Tuesday morning for BYU by going through a walk thru at a familiar place, Utah Valley. The Panthers earned a win at the UCCU Center last December and went to the Wolverines campus less than 20 minutes away from the team hotel due to a church service at the Marriott Center.
The Panthers will face the Cougars tonight at 9 p.m. ET. The game can be heard on WRAS-FM 88.5 beginning with the Panther Pregame Show at 8:30 p.m.
Fans can check out the updated photo album that includes photos from practice today and the Provo, Utah area, including some fun in the snow.

As we continue our Behind the Scenes with Georgia State Basketball series, our next stop takes us to Provo, Utah. The Panthers practiced in the very nice Marriott Center on the campus of BYU on Monday night. The Panthers will open the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic on Tuesday night facing the Cougars at 9 p.m. ET.
For many members of the team, this is their second straight season making a trip to Utah and it looked very similar to last December. The team arrived to the mountains being covered in snow and temperatures in the low 30’s.
However, as it was described to the team, cold in Utah is different from cold in Georgia. Coming back from practice Monday night, it was 28 degrees, but it felt like a much warmer 28 degrees than in Georgia. It doesn’t really make much sense, it just seems to be the case.
Coach Hunter’s squad will go through a light walk thru on Tuesday on the campus of Utah Valley, where the Panthers played last season.
