ATLANTA--All Georgia State sports programs are performing well in the classroom, according to the NCAA's latest Academic Progress Rates released Wednesday.

Every GSU team has posted a multi-year APR well above the NCAA standard, including a score of 971 for the men's basketball team.

Other top performing GSU teams include women's soccer (992), softball (988), men's golf (985), baseball (981) and men's soccer (980).

Every Division I sports team calculates its APR each academic year, based on the eligibility and retention of each scholarship student-athlete. Teams scoring below certain thresholds can face sanctions, such as scholarship losses and restrictions on practice. Rates are based on the past four years' performance, and the most recent APR scores are multi-year rates based on the scores from the 2007-08, 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2010-11 academic years.

The Georgia State football program, which began play in 2010, does not yet have an APR score.
