Allen McKay returns for his third season at GSU as a member of the 2009 signing class and will make his move for more playing time now that LB Jake Muasau has moved on to the New York Giants.

The 6-2, 215-pounder has played in 21 of the first 22 games in GSU history. McKay has made his move as a Panther with 19 tackles, four tackles for loss and two QB sacks.

He is a Georgia native from Buena Vista, near Columbus and the Alabama border. McKay was a standout running back who rushed for 1,596 yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior and gained more than 3,200 yards in his career. He made the transition from offense to defense at Georgia State.
