Assistant Coach Ricky Thomas has made his move to Georgia State as the newest member of the coaching staff.
Thomas, a 15-year veteran NFL assistant coach, made his moves as a starting strong safety as a collegiate player at Alabama. The defensive coach was on head coach Tony Dungy's staff with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for five years and went with him to Indianapolis.
With the Colts, Thomas got to coach in two Super Bowls, winning his ring in Super Bowl XLI when Indianapolis beat Chicago.
Married with two children, Thomas is a native of Niceville, in the Florida gulf panhandle.
